Responsibilities
Perform support functions for one or more staff in one or more functional areas which include order processing, payroll, material procurement and assorted administrative functions related to transportation.
Completes, organizes and coordinates data, information, and activities for the functional area and/or cross functional areas.
Learn, follow and utilize procedures, products, policies, and software appropriate to one or more functional areas.
Routine daily tasks include data entry, organizing work, creating materials for internal and external customers, answering mail and phone inquiries, and making calls to arrange services from vendors.
Must be willing to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Authorized to work in the US.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience administering safety programs and/or safety training.
Experience in office environment supporting manufacturing operations.
Proven capability to use computer systems including experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel.
Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures regarding manufacturing.
Strong analytical abilities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
High level of organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Associates degree and 3 years of experience in office environment supporting manufacturing operations.
Knowledge of OSHA or EHS systems/guidelines.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • Starting salary range for position: $42,000-$52,5000
  • Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
  • Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions
