BHSN, one of the fastest-growing organizations providing whole-person care in the region, is in search of passionate individuals to join our rapidly growing team!

Your role at BHSN:

Assists eligible individuals in securing and maintaining safe, affordable housing. Provides tenancy support services for OMH Supported Housing clients, HUD Housing participants, and Homesteads on Ampersand residents.

We are hiring for multiple full-time schedules:

  • 2 openings: Monday–Friday, choice of 8:00am–4:00pm, 8:30am–4:30pm, or 9:00am–5:00pm

  • 1 opening: Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–10:30pm

What your day might look like:

  • Perform clerical tasks including data entry, filing, and answering phones

  • Assist with screening/admission and discharge processes for program participants

  • Complete assessments to identify needs and connect residents with appropriate services

  • Support participants in developing individualized Housing Support Plans

  • Provide rehabilitative tenancy support services consistent with OMH Supported Housing guidelines

  • Conduct routine in-home visits with residents

  • Perform unit inspections to ensure compliance with Housing Quality Standards (HQS)

Your skills and qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Human Services OR High School diploma with 3 years of human services experience

  • Valid NYS driver’s license with record acceptable to BHSN’s insurance carrier

  • Reliable transportation for local travel

  • Strong computer and data entry skills

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs., bend, and climb stairs
