VITAL Office Assistant

Student duties and responsibilities: provide warm and welcoming customer service; assist with miscellaneous office tasks, including data entry, shelf reading, and photocopying.

Job qualifications: strong computer skills; ability to work with the public; Spanish language proficiency preferred. ย 


Learn and Play Space Program Assistant

Student duties and responsibilities: assist in the creation, planning, and preparation of activities, programs, theme changes, flannel board collections, and summer reading organization; complete various tasks for Librarians and Library Assistants; maintain the Children's Department by cleaning toys and materials, keeping the area organized, and ensuring supplies are available; assist Children's Services Librarians with preparing Children's Program Room for story time and craft activities; perform simple clerical duties.

Job qualifications: a passion for working with young children; flexible, organized, and patient; able to sit on small chairs, pick up items, and lift and move small furniture; good communication skills; willing to learn how to use a Cricut, laminator, and button maker.


Friends of the Library Office Assistant
