Position Overview: In this role, you will assist with transferring, validating, and maintaining provider-related information within a new database system. Successful candidates will have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and experience working within a provider office, healthcare administration, or managed care environment.
Location: Hanover, MD
Duration: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
Schedule: Full-Time (8-12 Week Project)
Responsibilities
  • Enter, review, and validate provider data within a new database system.
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of provider information during data migration activities.
  • Assist with network maintenance activities related to claims payment, eligibility, benefits, fee schedules, referrals, and appeals processes.
  • Support provider credentialing functions, including application and documentation review.
  • Participate in provider network development, education, and communication initiatives as needed.
  • Research and resolve data discrepancies using multiple information sources.
  • Generate reports and assist with database maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and project-related activities.

Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a provider office, healthcare administration, managed care, or related healthcare environment.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and database systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.

Preferred
  • Associate's degree.
  • Experience with provider relations, provider credentialing, network operations, or managed care administration.
  • Experience working with Access databases or other database management systems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare claims, eligibility, benefits, referrals, and credentialing processes.
