Job Description:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The primary function of a Recruiting Administrative Assistant is to assist Driver Recruiters by working with candidates and employment verifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Verifying the employment of applicants via fax, phone or other required online tools
  • Running MVR and other background reports on applicants
  • Verifying accuracy of information on driver applications
  • Weekly audits of drivers files to meet DOT requirements
  • Heavy data entry of driver applications
  • Other administrative duties and special projects as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates degree in business preferred and/or equivalent work experience
  • At least one year of administrative support experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel)
  • Internet savvy - ability to search/research for information as necessary
  • Excellent typing and data entry skills required
  • Ability to plan and organize, attention to detail, problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must have the ability to work alone or in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills needed
  • Possess courteous, yet assertive telephone personality
