Job description

Center, Colorado
Tracking inventories of tools, parts and supplies; obtaining competitive pricing of items to be purchased; completing requisition forms for purchases; obtaining proper signed approval for purchases; coordinating parts pickup from local vendors; ordering/stocking of tools, parts and supplies to maintain proper inventory levels; data entry into COGS preventative maintenance program. This position works Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing inventory of all tools, parts, and supplies. This includes maintaining proper inventory levels, performing periodic inventory audits for accuracy, assisting in ordering and stocking of all inventory items, maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Data entry into COGS preventative maintenance program.
  • Complete PO's, various reports and spreadsheet data entry as assigned.
  • Complete all other tasks and job duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Understanding of basic inventory principals and the ability to maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Proficiency in reading so as to be able to understand manuals, supply catalogues, instructions.
  • Ability to accurately write so as to be able to maintain logs, records, and reports.
  • General understanding of tools, parts and supplies used in industrial food manufacturing operations preferred.

Education:
Education must be of such level as to allow for the accurate reading, writing, calculation and communication of the required materials and instructions to complete the job responsibilities. High school diploma/equivalent or higher education preferred.
