Job Title

Basic Qualifications

1. High School education or equivalent; Spanish language skills a plus.

2. Excellent people skills and telephone etiquette required.

3. Ability to concentrate in a fast-paced office environment, must be able to multi-task.

4. Must be self-motivated and able to complete assigned duties with limited supervision.

5. Must possess the ability to receive directions and follow through in an appropriate manner.

6. Must be able to interface with the public and county employees in a consistent professional manner.

7. Familiar with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) rules.

8. Must have working knowledge of Windows, MS Outlook, Word & Excel, typing/data entry skills.

Examples of Job Duties

1. Greet public clients, answer telephone, transfer calls to appropriate individual / take accurate messages.

2. File/work medical charts.

3. Organize STD clinic clients, complete required documentation.

4. Request medical records, copy and mail medical records to outside medical facilities/agencies.

5. Data entry, clerical support, payroll support.

6. Assume any other duties assigned by department head or supervisor.

7. Email Point of Contact & Monthly Dept. Activity Report.

8. Hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
