ATTENTION MILITARY AFFILIATED JOB SEEKERS - Our organization works with partner companies to source qualified talent for their open roles. The following position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. NOTE: Employer will consider a remote location for this position in CONUS and Hawaii, but the following states are excluded for remote positions: Alaska, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, Oregon.
Provides startup, troubleshooting and end user training for lighting control systems. Can easily read lighting and floor plans and interpret specifications to ensure system installations match the plans and meet the end user's expectations. Has enough expertise to handle complex jobs and work with both internal and external stakeholders to address concerns and drive for project completion.
This is a remote role with 90% travel from Monday to Friday, allowing weekends at home.
Key Responsibilities
Performs onsite lighting and control startup, troubleshooting and end user training 55%
Provides expert support for both internal and external customers as it pertains to field applications of product 30%
Creates and maintains relationships with key stakeholders to provide differentiated service 10%
Provides engineering support and communicates cross-functionally with other departments 5%
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
Associate's Degree or Technical Degree or equivalent
1 to 2 years of relevant experience
Working general computer skills, including but not limited to e-mail, spread sheet, word processing, and data entry
Strong communication, both written and oral
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Understanding of basic electrical components (relays, drivers)
Preferred Requirements
2 to 4 years of relevant experience
Understanding of lighting control systems and PLCs
Travel Requirements
90% travel from Monday to Friday, allowing weekends at home
