Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Governance Facilitator in Tampa, FL.
Overview:
We are seeking a Data Governance Facilitator to support operational data governance, master data enablement, and systems support. This is not a traditional Data Analyst, Data Governance Lead, or MDM ownership role. The focus is on facilitation, coordination, user support, and continuous improvement, with strong emphasis on learning, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration. This is not a data entry, data ownership, or traditional governance role.
Responsibilities:
* Support master data domains: Product, Material, Customer, and Vendor
* Enable Data Stewards and business users (no direct data entry or data ownership)
* Support data governance operations including tickets, requests, and issue resolution
* Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics (Power BI, Excel)
* Identify data trends, anomalies, and quality issues through analysis
* Improve and streamline data workflows and processes
* Support urgent and business-critical data requests
* Troubleshoot data and system issues; resolve or escalate as needed
* Work within custom systems integrated with SAP
* Maintain governance documentation and support meetings and training
Day-to-Day:
* Dynamic, non-routine work environment
* Mix of ticket management, reporting, user support, and process improvement
* Exposure to large-scale master data across multiple domains
* Opportunity to grow as governance maturity and platforms evolve
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 1-3 years of relevant experience
* Strong willingness to learn and adapt
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* SQL fundamentals with interest in Databricks
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Comfortable supporting users across locations and functions
Technology:
* Databricks, SQL (fundamentals), Power BI, ServiceNow, Microsoft Office; ERP environment transitioning to SAP S/4HANA (SAP experience a plus, not required)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
