SpecialtyRx is expanding into Cook County, Illinois and is seeking motivated Pharmacy Data Entry Technicians to join our growing team at our new closed-door long-term care pharmacy location.
About Us:
SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. We take pride in delivering personalized care and high-quality pharmacy services to the communities we serve.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for reliable and detail-oriented professionals who want to build a long-term career with us.
Responsibilities:
  • Enter new prescription orders for pharmacist review.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information.
  • Generate prescription labels for dispensing.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to order inquiries.
  • Clarify prescription orders as needed.
  • Triage and process incoming faxes.
  • Support pharmacy workflow while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license required.
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Reliable and dependable work ethic.
  • Knowledge of SIG codes preferred.
  • Fast and accurate typing skills.
  • Computer literacy required.
  • Experience with FrameworkLTC systems is a plus.
