Job description

The Client Support Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for participants, community members, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and support across multiple program areas. You'll assists with participant intake, referrals, data management, and overall program operations. You'll foster a positive, professional, and welcoming environment, uphold confidentiality, promote participant-centered service, and support de-escalation and problem resolution as needed. In addition, you'll also provide administrative and office support, collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations, and contribute to ongoing process improvements to enhance participant services. This full-time position (40 hours per week) is Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm and will be based in Zumbrota.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of work experience in a customer service role or working in direct contact with the public
  • Ability to pass a required background study, as defined by the position
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Proficiency with office equipment including printers, scanners, multi-line phone, etc.
  • Bilingual skills (English plus an additional language)
  • Relevant lived experience, as applicable to the role
