Job Summary: 

The Ski and Ride School Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Ski and Ride School Management team and employees. This position is an integral role within the Ski and Ride School and requires the candidate to be well organized with excellent time management and strong attention to detail. We are seeking highly motivated candidates who understand how to take initiative and can act professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times. The primary responsibility of this position is daily data entry of all instructor and student data. This position must be comfortable working at a computer for an extended period of time. Secondary responsibilities include general office work such as scanning and filing of paperwork and assisting the Administrative Supervisor with projects as needed.

Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $21.04/hr - $24.75/hr  
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027  
  • Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available 
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age  
  • Housing Availability: No 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Creating, modifying, and uploading documents using various programs (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.). Documents must be current and accurate.
  • Working effectively within and maintaining an organized electronic filing system (access data entry, record maintenance, compliance tracking, etc.)
  • Daily data entry, scanning and filing of Ski School documents.
  • Assist in processing Payroll and HR paperwork.  This will include daily payroll entry for the SRS team, and working with our Administrative Supervisor to process pay adjustments, expense reimbursements, etc.  
  • Assist with inputting and updating instructor schedules on a seasonal and daily basis.
  • Willingness to assist as needed in various aspects of Ski School operations โ€“ this may include working with guests, children, or at times working outdoors.
  • Managing incoming telephone and/or radio calls and handling messaging and information appropriately.
  • Replying to guest & employee inquiries by e-mail in a timely and professional manner.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work under tight deadlines and changing priorities with accuracy, dependability and a positive attitude.

Job Requirements: 

  • High School diploma required; 4-year college degree preferred.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
  • Ability to speak, read, write and communicate clearly in English.
  • Ability to act resourcefully and adapt to a changing environment while providing exceptional customer service skills to guests and employees alike.
  • Ability to positively contribute to a respectful work environment.
  • Highly detail oriented and organized.
  • Payroll and/or administrative experience preferred. 
  • Snow-sports background preferred.
  • Ability to pass criminal background check.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

The expected pay range is $21.04/hr - $24.75/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
