Job Description Summary

This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds - flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 3 per week in one of the following locations: St. Petersburg, FL or Memphis, TN.
The Tax Reporting Associate supports the accurate processing and reporting of tax-related information while serving as a key point of contact for internal Financial Advisors and business partners. This entry-level role combines customer service and operational responsibilities, requiring individuals to manage inbound inquiries, research tax reporting questions, process transactions, and support tax season activities.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to balance phone-based support with administrative processing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Due to increased volume during the annual tax reporting season (typically January through April), employees in this role are expected to work overtime, including occasional evenings and weekends, as business needs require. This position is eligible for overtime pay.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data entry into company systems, and review and verify the information to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

  • Carry out operational tasks by following established processes. May involve adjusting basic settings or parameters in order to meet performance standards.

  • Use standard office software to carry out basic formatting of letters, memoranda, and routine reports.

  • Maintain files and records.

  • Ensure a positive experience for internal clients by having courteous interactions with them.

  • Assess compliance with established standards and protocols for routine inquiries.

  • Support others by carrying out basic data management tasks.

  • Follow a range of mandatory procedures to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.

  • Develop and maintain excellent procedural or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
