Data Entry Specialist 

Overview

Hematogenix® is looking for a detail oriented, and focused individual to join our team as a Data Entry Specialist. This position will support data entry for multiple projects. If you’re excited about working for a cancer research organization, this would be a great fit for you!

Location

Tinley Park, IL 

Fully On-Site 

Responsibilities

  • Provides general data entry support for daily operations
  • Typing data directly and accurately
  • Verifying data by correctly checking and comparing source documentation
  • Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods
  • Keep records of tasks, files, and progress
  • Flexible team-spirit to aid and assist wherever needed

Qualifications 

  • Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Prior experience handling data entry responsibilities or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Must be able to take and follow direction 
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well under pressure
  • Ability to communicate well throughout the lab 
  • Personal computer and data entry skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Must be able to assimilate to a changing work environment
