Activities Center Member Services Associate
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Member Services Associate at the Orono Activities Center. As the first point of contact for our visitors, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist visitors, members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer incoming calls and provide accurate information or direct calls to the appropriate department.
  • Process registrations, payments and inquiries related to activities and programs offered at the center.
  • Print daily revenue reports and prepare weekly deposits.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
  • Monitor access to the facility and enforce established policies and procedures.
  • Assist in promoting upcoming events and activities.
  • Provide general administrative support, including data entry, payment reconciliation and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the center.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and using office software.
  • Previous experience in customer service is a plus.
