The Integrated Services Teacher plays a vital role in delivering high-quality early childhood education within the ACE program while supporting broader program operations across sites. This position blends classroom instruction, social-emotional support, and family engagement to ensure continuity of care and strong developmental outcomes for children.

Working collaboratively with program leadership and support staff, the Integrated Services Teacher helps implement curriculum, address individualized learning needs, and promote school readiness aligned with Head Start Program Performance Standards.


Key Responsibilities
Classroom Instruction (ACE Program)
  • Deliver developmentally appropriate instruction within the ACE classroom
  • Implement curriculum aligned with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that supports social-emotional development
  • Use individualized strategies to support diverse learning and behavioral needs
Social-Emotional Support
  • Partner with the Family & Student Support Specialist to deliver targeted interventions
  • Support children in developing emotional regulation, positive behaviors, and peer relationships
  • Assist in implementing strategies that foster social-emotional growth across program sites
Classroom Coverage & Site Support
  • Serve as a flexible teacher across multiple sites to maintain ratios and continuity
  • Provide classroom support, including activity facilitation and classroom management
  • Adapt quickly to different environments while maintaining consistent quality standards
Family Engagement & Home Visits
  • Conduct home visits in collaboration with program leadership
  • Build strong partnerships with families to support children’s development and school readiness

Education
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree (required)
Experience
