Job Title: Field AdministratorJob Description
The Field Administrator provides comprehensive administrative, customer and company relations, and facility support to a construction-focused organization. Working under the direct supervision of the Area Supervisor, this role takes the lead in ensuring area billing, reporting, document control, and day-to-day office operations are organized, accurate, and fully functional. The position offers the opportunity to develop strong project administration skills while supporting field construction management and crews in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
  • Support field construction management teams and crews by providing timely and accurate administrative assistance.
  • Coordinate, assemble, and maintain final job packages for handover to the billing team, ensuring all documentation is complete and properly organized.
  • Perform data entry and excel data entry tasks, including basic data manipulation such as filters, tables, and document updates.
  • Provide administrative support for project administration activities, including document control, tracking, and reporting.
  • Assist with basic billing activities and ensure that billing-related information is accurately captured and communicated.
  • Maintain organized records, files, and documentation to support construction and utility-related projects.
  • Identify operational or documentation issues and promptly escalate them to management when necessary.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally with a diverse group of individuals, from laborers to project managers.
  • Work independently, manage time effectively, and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment, adapting to changing priorities and project needs.
  • Demonstrate a high level of organization, planning, and attention to detail in all administrative tasks.

Work Environment
This role operates primarily in a corporate office environment with a business casual dress code, while providing support to construction sites that may be based in well-appointed trailers. Typical hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to approximately 5:00-6:00 p.m., with a half day on Friday ending around 2:00-3:00 p.m. The work setting is fast-paced and dynamic, with a strong emphasis on flexibility, collaboration, and employee development. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
