Job description

Spherion Staffing is hiring a detail oriented Trust Operations Specialist for a financial institution in Wichita Falls, TX! This position will be responsible for the daily maintenance and posting of account activity. Work schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Eligible candidates must have a background in the financial industry and/or experience working in a financial office setting to be considered.


Responsibilities

Reconcile cash management and mutual funds.
Settle mutual fund transactions and place resulting trades.
Process asset income received on cash management and mutual funds.
Verify and post asset income received from trust personnel.
Daily balancing of the trust DDA Accounts.
Preparation of customer account statements.
Scan and index daily operations work in DocuTreev system.
Review pricing report weekly for exceptions and make necessary corrections.
Assist with asset setup and maintenance.
Provide backup support for other trust operations activities through cross-training.
Special operations related projects as may be requested from time to time by the Trust Operations Manager.


Qualifications & Skills
High school degree or GED equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.

Must be able to work effectively while multi-tasking in a high volume environment.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Experience working in a financial office setting.
Must have general bookkeeping experience (i.e. QuickBooks)
Must be able to efficiently and accurately process transactions.
Must be proficient with 10-key (by touch); alpha/numeric data entry; spreadsheets, word processing, basic typing, filing and excellent PC skills.
