Title: ARD Scheduler - Special Programs
Job Title:Secretary
Reports to:Department Director Assigned
Primary Purpose:
Under moderate supervision organize and manage the Special Programs files, ARD scheduling and provide clerical support to a director or department head and other sta? members.
Quali?cations:
Education/Certi?cation:
High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Pro?cient skills in keyboarding, data entry, word processing, and electronic ?le maintenance Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and databases and do word processing Ability to prioritize work?ow to address the multiple needs of the supervisor or the department Ability to multi-task numerous complex administrative activities
Basic math skills
E?ective communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
2 years secretarial experience and/or experience in Special Education (preferred)
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Records, Reports, and Correspondence
  1. Prepare correspondence, forms and reports for the department head and other department sta?
  2. Compile, maintain, and ?le all reports, records, and other documents electronically as
  3. Compile and crosscheck reports in Infinite Campus, X-LOGS and Frontline
  4. Maintain inventory of o?ce supplies and program
  5. Schedules or assists, ARD meetings and notifies parents of ARD meeting, including distribution of ARD calendar to appropriate ARD member(s).
Other
  1. Answer and respond to incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate sta?.
  2. Maintain the ARD schedule for all campuses including, but not limited to, initial or rescheduled ARD meetings or other meetings.
  3. Make meeting arrangements for department activities including preparing materials, schedule and setting up facilities , and arranging equipment (as needed).
  4. Receive, sort, and distribute mail and other documents to department
  5. Maintain confidentiality of
  6. Follow district safety protocols and emergency
  7. Send parent surveys after meetings,
  8. Review and crosscheck ARD
