Job description

We’re seeking a Senior Data & Distribution Platform Engineer to support enterprise data, marketing, and distribution applications for a global asset-management environment. This role blends hands-on production support with technical leadership, helping improve service reliability through proactive monitoring, smart diagnostics, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical direction and help prioritize work across the data and distribution support domain.
  • Handle incident investigations, service requests, problem management, operational changes, and release readiness activities.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and root-cause analysis within the agreed support scope.
  • Support and monitor data workflows and platforms, including Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Fivetran, and Collibra.
  • Assist with enterprise distribution and marketing applications such as AEM, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce C360, and Workfront.
  • Identify and resolve issues involving APIs, data movement, integrations, and upstream/downstream dependencies.
  • Carry out approved operational fixes and preventive improvements within Level 2 support boundaries.
  • Contribute to monitoring, runbooks, diagnostics, and support automation efforts.
  • Improve documentation, knowledge sharing, and recurring-issue prevention practices.
  • Collaborate with technical, product, business, and vendor teams to support timely resolution and clear communication.
Skills
  • 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise data platforms, SaaS applications, or production environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, advanced SQL, and Python.
  • Experience with dbt Cloud, Fivetran, or similar data pipeline tools.
  • Solid background in monitoring and troubleshooting production data workflows.
  • Ability to guide technical work, mentor others, or coordinate delivery efforts.
  • Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, data movement, and production support practices.
  • Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management processes.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in client-facing, consulting, or managed services environments.
  • Exposure to data governance tools such as Collibra or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting AEM, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce C360, or Workfront.
  • Knowledge of Azure APIM or other enterprise integration layers.
  • Experience with observability or service management tools.
