The role:

As a tech-agnostic consultancy, Engineers at Oakland have a broad skillset.You'llbe a programmer at heart andhave the ability topick up new tools and techniques quickly.

No two projects are the same, which means we encourage our Engineers to become technology polyglots and to find the best solution for our client's problems, which may not always be the most familiar to you.

We expect you to have:
  • Proficiencywith SQL, Python, and at least one other programming language e.g. C#, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript etc.
  • Experience working incloud-basedenvironmentse.g. AWS, Azure, GCP
It would be nice to have any of the below:
  • Experience working with modern data platforms e.g. Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks.
  • Front-end software engineering - web applications with React (or similar frameworks)
  • Familiar with DevOps practices - includingIaCand CI/CD, and tools such as Docker, Terraform, or Kubernetes
  • AI Engineering and architecture- GenAI,LLMs, RAG, Agentic solutions, Prompt Engineering

Blended Working:
