Data Engineering organization and help drive the transformation of the finance industry.
In this role, you'll work on a
cloud-native, modern data platform, building scalable data pipelines, designing data models, creating transformations, and delivering data products and dashboards to clients. You'll provide technical expertise and operational support, ranging from migrating existing workloads to developing advanced cloud-based solutions.
You'll collaborate closely with engineering and product teams, delivering high-quality data products while fostering a culture of engineering excellence. We're looking for someone who brings strong technical skills along with thoughtful perspectives and creativity to help move the team forward.
What You'll Do - Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes to support large-scale data products
- Develop efficient data models and data products aligned with business needs
- Gather and analyze requirements to design data solutions tailored to analytical and usage demands
- Apply data quality, governance, and best practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the data lifecycle
- Establish monitoring and observability to maintain partner trust in data products
- Perform root cause analysis, implement preventative solutions, and monitor performance and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and deliver incrementally and on time
- Mentor junior data engineers through code reviews, best-practice sharing, and technical guidance
What You'll Need - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
- 9+ years of experience in data engineering, building and scaling data-intensive applications
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL best practices
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or Java)
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including pipeline development, data modeling, and optimization
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow)
- Familiarity with data transformation frameworks such as dbt, PySpark, or Snowpark
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker
- Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD best practices
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical partners
