About The Role: We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data integration solutions, and modern data architecture. You will work closely with engineering, analytics, and business teams to build reliable data solutions and ensure efficient data storage, processing, transformation, and analytics using Snowflake and modern data engineering tools.
Location: Columbia, MO (Hybrid - 1 week in office, 1 week remote)
Experience: 4+ years
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday
What You'll Do:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions
  • Build and manage data replication and transformation workflows using Qlik Replicate, Qlik Compose, dbt Labs, and Astronomer
  • Develop and optimize data solutions using Snowflake for data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics
  • Implement ETL/ELT processes and support data modeling and data warehousing initiatives
  • Work with cloud-based data solutions and services across platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Develop SQL and Python or PowerShell scripts for data manipulation, automation, and operational efficiency
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and resolve data engineering issues
  • Implement data quality, governance, security, and lifecycle management practices
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver reliable data solutions
  • Use GitHub and established development practices to manage code, workflows, and collaboration
  • Contribute to scalable and maintainable data architecture and engineering standards

What We're Looking For:
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in a Senior Data Engineer role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
  • Experience with Qlik Replicate and Qlik Compose for data integration and replication
  • Hands-on experience with dbt Labs and Astronomer
  • Proficiency with GitHub and modern software development workflows
  • Strong understanding of data engineering principles, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages
  • Experience with data ingestion, performance optimization, security, and scalable data processing in Snowflake
  • Familiarity with data quality, data governance, and data lifecycle management
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
