Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong Microsoft Fabric expertise to join a leading healthcare technology client on a 6-month remote contract. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about building modern data platforms and delivering end-to-end data engineering solutions in a dynamic and evolving environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric
  • Implement and manage Lakehouse architectures, including OneLake and DirectLake
  • Build and optimize data pipelines supporting end-to-end data engineering workflows
  • Deploy and manage solutions using Fabric deployment pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data products
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization across the platform
  • Contribute to the transformation of modern data infrastructure within the organization

Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience working with Microsoft Fabric
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • Lakehouse architecture
    • OneLake and DirectLake
    • Fabric deployment pipelines
  • Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end data engineering solutions (beyond Synapse and Power BI)
  • Proficiency in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline orchestration
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
