RBC Bearings Incorporated (NYSE: RBC/RBCP) is a leading international manufacturer and marketer of highly engineered precision bearings, components, and essential systems serving the industrial, defense, and aerospace industries. Established in 1919, RBC Bearings specializes in producing technical and regulated bearing products and components that demand advanced design, testing, and manufacturing capabilities.
As a full manufacturing division, we manage the entire product lifecycle—from initial engineering and design through sales, supply chain management, and final production—ensuring quality and innovation at every stage. This comprehensive approach allows us to deliver highly technical solutions tailored to the diversified industrial, aerospace, and defense markets.
RBC Bearings operates 56 facilities worldwide, including 37 manufacturing sites across ten countries. The company’s market capitalization is approximately $6.2 billion. With a skilled team integrated across all functions, we consistently deliver complex parts from concept through completion.
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our dynamic aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and setting up CNC mills (vertical, horizontal, 5-axis) and lathes, with a deep understanding of precision machining and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate and set up CNC mills (vertical, horizontal, 5-axis) and CNC lathes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
  • Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
  • Monitor machining operations to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Measure, mark, and verify dimensions of finished parts using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
  • Adjust machine settings, tool offsets, and feeds/speeds to optimize accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain equipment in proper working order and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
  • Record production data, job progress, and inspection results accurately.
  • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and inspectors to resolve machining or design issues.
  • Safely lift and move materials as required.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with inspection processes and basic quality standards.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and workplace cleanliness.
  • Effective team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
Overtime may be required, including weekends.
