Our client is seeking a motivated Quality Intern to support quality assurance, inspection, compliance, and continuous-improvement activities within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with inspection of precision components
- Review manufacturing documentation and quality records
- Support internal audits
- Collect and analyze quality KPIs
- Assist with nonconforming-material investigations
- Support root-cause and CAPA documentation
- Verify compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements
- Assist with AS9102 First Article documentation
- Maintain quality records and filing systems
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous-improvement initiatives
- Prepare reports, presentations, and data summaries
- Support calibration records and gauge tracking
- Observe manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Aerospace, or Quality Engineering; Engineering Technology; or a related technical discipline
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or internship experience
- Blueprint-reading familiarity
- Basic GD&T knowledge
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk through manufacturing areas and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to use measurement equipment and wear required PPE
Compensation
$22.50 per hour.
