Job description

Overview
Inabia is seeking an on-site Infrastructure & Lab Support Engineer to support lab and development environments at our Chandler, AZ facility on a fully onsite basis. This role combines operating system administration, container-based deployments, and hands-on physical lab support to keep development and demo systems running smoothly. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across Windows and Linux environments and is eager to grow their exposure to industrial and OT tooling.
Responsibilities
  • Be onsite 5-days per week to install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Stand up and manage development environments on both Linux and Windows platforms
  • Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and entry-level to intermediate Kubernetes deployments
  • Apply basic networking fundamentals to support lab infrastructure connectivity
  • Install and configure software required for lab and development systems
  • Execute tests, collect results, and document performance data accurately
  • Pack, organize, and ship demo and lab equipment with care and attention to detail
  • Handle hardware components safely and maintain an organized lab workspace
  • Support general physical and logistical operations within the lab environment

Key Qualifications
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Hands-on experience with OS installation and configuration
  • Understanding of basic networking fundamentals
  • Familiarity with Docker container basics
  • Entry-level to intermediate experience with Kubernetes deployments
  • Ability to set up dev environments and install and configure software
  • Experience running tests and collecting and documenting performance data
  • Comfortable with hands-on physical lab work, including hardware handling and equipment logistics
  • Detail-oriented approach to hardware organization and shipping tasks

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Intel or industrial manufacturing software
  • Basic understanding of Process Automation or Motion Control concepts
  • Exposure to SoftPLC (not required, but a plus)
  • Willingness to learn and work within industrial and OT environment tooling
