Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Description
We are seeking a Hardware Electrical-Mechanical Designer to support the modeling, detailing, and drawing generation of mechanical hardware, components, cable routing, and wiring documentation for elevator systems. This is an onsite position. The ideal candidate must have strong Creo experience and be an expert in Pro Cable and/or E3 Zuken.
This role will provide design support to internal and external customers, modify and develop component solutions, support engineering issue resolution, and create component, assembly, subsystem, and system-level models and drawings. Responsibilities also include supporting cost reduction efforts, first-time-build reduction, 3D studies, prototyping, change notice processes, model updates, and translating engineering markups into accurate 3D models and production-ready drawings.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required Skills
Expert-level experience with Creo 10 or higher, including component, assembly, subsystem, and system modeling. Proficiency with Pro Cable and/or E3 Zuken Wiring Diagrams is required. Experience with parametric design, programming using Notepad, cable routing, wiring documentation, and engineering drawing generation.
Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerancing, welding definitions, material specifications, finishes, part fitment, design feasibility, and advanced mathematics techniques used in mechanical design. Ability to interpret engineering markups, update models and drawings, support engineering change notices, and collaborate effectively with engineers and internal customers.
Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight, manage multiple deliverables at pace, communicate clearly, and deliver accurate design work against target timelines. Strong interpersonal skills, cross-functional collaboration, and attention to detail are required.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
