Job Description
Would you like to be the next data evangelist, working across the company to understand how our data outputs affect different groups and identify areas where our team can provide additional value?
This position offers an advancement opportunity to allow you to grow into the SME for the team for advanced analytics, report design, offering insights and suggestions on what potential problems we should be solving.
Qualifications
In this role you will:
Design SQL, R scripts to directly query and analyze internal and external data sources to package together clear, actionable findings and provide timely, valuable solutions for ad hoc analyses via SQL with a focus to detail on crafting scripts that can be easily manipulated to efficiently address similar future analyses.
You will own the design of advanced analytics dashboards built in Spotfire due to your superior Spotfire experience. Along with data visualizations, and KPI reports generated in Spotfire starting from requirements gathering across multiple channels and lines of business to the final deliverables.
Therefore extensive experience in designing reports, visualizations, and dashboards in Spotfire a must, and naturally become our expert of dashboard design and data visualization.
This requires the following:
4+ years in experience on Spotfire reports and dashboards
Hands-on experience with Spotfire scripts is mandatory.
Hands-on experience with Customizations to overcome limitations in Spotfire.
Hands-on experience with SQL and data-mart design is mandatory.
HIGHLY PREFERRED:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative or analytical field
High SQL aptitude a must
Ability to conduct predictive analyses via R a plus
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services technologies a plus
Ability to clearly explain findings from complex analyses in case studies and presentations
Previous experience on a data team in an agile environment
