Job Summary: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Unlocking The Spectrum is seeking motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to deliver high-quality ABA services to children with autism. This role offers the opportunity to work in a center-based, home-based, and/or community-based setting. RBTs will implement individualized behavior programs designed to build essential skills and reduce challenging behaviors, while supporting children in developing independence and confidence.


The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, and able to multitask while exercising sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism

Collect accurate data and document progress throughout each session

Communicate client progress and observations to supervising clinicians

Teach communication, social, self-help, and behavior skills aligned with treatment goals

Support children across a variety of settings, including the center, home, school, and community

Requirements

Educational Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in ABA or related field is preferred, but not required

Experience working with children with autism is preferred, but not required

Positive team player and energetic professional

Strong organizational and time-management skills along with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Good judgment and creative thinking skills

Demonstrates creativity, flexibility and the ability to prioritize and problem-solve

Ability to communicate appropriately under varying conditions (considers the environment, people present)

Exercises discretion in private and sensitive matters

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Must meet background check requirements.
