Key Responsibilities

In this role, your primary duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations and re-evaluations to identify their functional capabilities and areas requiring improvement.
• Performing detailed chart reviews and data collection to inform evidence-based treatment decisions.
• Collaborating effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to exchange critical patient information regarding medical history and therapy needs.
• Demonstrating a thorough understanding of various complex medical diagnoses, lab results, and contraindications to ensure safe and effective treatment.
• Designing and implementing tailored treatment plans for diverse patient populations, including orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric cases, ensuring the therapeutic approach addresses individual complexities.
• Monitoring patient progress and clinical outcomes, addressing any issues or outlier cases with fellow therapists to optimize delivery and effectiveness of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient population will primarily encompass individuals requiring home health care for rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. This includes both adults and children, each with unique therapeutic goals and challenges. You will employ a person-centered approach that not only focuses on physical recovery but also on improving overall quality of life, fostering independence, and enhancing the well-being of our clients.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess an active Physical Therapist license issued by the State of Florida.
• Hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and collaborative team efforts.
• Demonstrate organizational proficiency, capable of managing diverse caseloads with efficiency.
• Showcase strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills, essential for patient assessment and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience is highly desirable:

• Prior experience in a home care setting, enhancing your understanding of home-based patient interactions.
• Exposure to a wide range of conditions across different patient populations, particularly with orthopedic and neurological disorders.
• Engagement in continuing education courses that keep you current on best practices and advances in the field of physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

At Move Right Therapy, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload complexities. In addition, you will receive:
