About us:

Norway Health Center's core values are:

5. Build a Legacy
We are launching a home-based EIDBI ABA program in Norway Health Center, supporting children and youth under the age of 21 with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental needs. We utilize positive reinforcement within an ABA framework to build skills, teach new abilities, and reduce behaviors that limit independence. Our goal is to strengthen families, promote inclusion, and provide high-quality, ethical services in the home and community. We value dignity, respect, and a supportive work environment where professionals can thrive.
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated EIDBI Level 3 Provider to join our growing team. In this role, you will work directly with children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs, delivering evidence-based, home-based ABA services under the supervision of BCBAs. You will learn how to support skill development, reduce barrier behaviors, and partner with families to promote growth, independence, and meaningful daily progress.
This is an essential position in launching Norway's home-based EIDBI ABA program. You will play a key role in building positive routines, supporting caregivers, and contributing to high-quality services rooted in dignity, respect, and data-informed practice.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 intervention in the home and community, delivering services identified in the Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) with fidelity to the treatment method and goals.
  • Support the development of functional skills in areas such as communication, daily living, social interaction, safety, and emotional regulation.
  • Collect and record data on targeted goals to document the child's response to intervention and share observations with the Level 1 or Level 2 provider for ongoing treatment planning.
  • Ensure that services honor each child's and family's values, goals, culture, language, and preferences.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to encourage skill generalization in natural routines and promote carryover of strategies in daily environments.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with EIDBI health service record requirements and agency standards.
  • Participate in required supervision, observation, and ongoing coaching as outlined in the ITP, incorporating feedback to improve clinical skills.
  • Utilize crisis management strategies when necessary to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
  • Complete all agency-required trainings prior to independent service delivery and fulfill all EIDBI training requirements within six months of hire

Qualifications:
  • Minimum Qualifications: To qualify for this position, candidates must be at least 18 years old, be employed by the EIDBI provider agency, and complete all Level 3 training requirements within the first six months of employment. Candidates must also meet one of the following qualification pathways:
    • High School Diploma/GED Pathway: Hold a high school diploma or GED.
    • Language/Cultural Pathway: Be fluent in a non-English language or hold a tribal nation certification.
    • Experience-Based Pathway: Have one year of experience within the past five years as a primary PCA, community health worker, waiver service provider, or special education assistant serving individuals with ASD or related conditions.
  • Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation and carry own vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client schedules.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Hours:
  • Job Type: Part-time / Full-time
  • Flexible hours between 7am and 8 pm, depending on patient availability.
  • Schedules are up to 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, with flexibility

Benefits:
  • Competitive salary; $18 to $25 per hour depending on experience.
  • Paid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training, supervision, and examination fees
  • Comprehensive health benefits (Medical, Dental and vision)
  • 401(k) retirement plan with up to 3% employer match
  • Travel time reimbursement
  • Paid time off (PTO)
