Description
Are you a hunter who loves the chase?
At Thysse, we don't just print - we build brand experiences. From environmental graphics and large format displays to direct mail and digital storefronts, we help some of the most recognized brands in the industry. And we're looking for a driven, curious, and coachable Business Development Representative to help us grow.
This is a role for someone who thrives on outreach, loves a good conversation, and gets energized by turning a cold call into a qualified meeting. You'll be the front line of our sales process - identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospective clients to build a healthy pipeline for our Business Development Managers. It's fast-paced, goal-oriented, and full of opportunity for someone ready to prove themselves.
This role is designed as a launching pad - high performers have a clear path to move into a full Business Development Manager position, owning their own client portfolio and driving revenue independently.
Note: We are looking for local candidates only. This is an onsite position.
What You'll Do
Prospect & Generate Leads
  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and social selling
  • Research and identify target accounts within Thysse's ideal customer profile
  • Nurture marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and convert them into sales qualified leads (SQLs)
  • Hit daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets for calls, emails, and qualified meetings booked
  • Develop creative approaches to engage decision-makers and break through the noise

Qualify & Set Meetings
  • Qualify prospects using BANT criteria (budget, authority, need, timeline)
  • Schedule discovery meetings and product demos for Business Development Managers
  • Ensure smooth handoffs with detailed notes and context so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Follow up on no-shows and keep pipeline momentum moving

Track & Report
  • Document all prospect interactions accurately in HubSpot CRM
  • Maintain clean, organized prospect data
  • Complete weekly activity reports including wins, challenges, and plans ahead

Collaborate & Grow
  • Partner with Marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness
  • Work closely with BDMs to continuously sharpen your qualification approach
  • Participate in coaching sessions and call reviews - we invest in your development

Requirements
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Sales, or related field preferred
  • 0-3 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, customer service, or a related role
  • Experience with cold calling, email outreach, or customer-facing work is a plus
  • Familiarity with Thysse's lines of business is a plus: Environmental Graphics, Offset/Digital, Large Format, Bindery, Die Cutting, Graphic Design, Inventory Management, Digital Storefronts, Direct Mail, and Fulfillment/Distribution
  • Proficiency with HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools preferred
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required

Who You Are
You're not waiting to be told what to do - you're already thinking three steps ahead. You handle rejection like a pro, bounce back fast, and see every "no" as one step closer to "yes." You're coachable, competitive, and genuinely curious about your clients' businesses. You want to build something, not just fill a seat.
