Who You Are Our Business Development Manager is a hands-on role responsible for guiding and optimizing lead development to ensure marketing-generated interest is converted into high-quality, sales-ready opportunities. Reporting to the Marketing General Manager, this role drives alignment between Marketing and Sales, optimizing lead flow, quality, and conversion performance through disciplined execution, CRM best practices, and team leadership.   • Lead and manage the Lead Development team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Own the end-to-end lead development process for inbound web leads and targeted outbound prospecting efforts
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to align on ideal customer profile (ICP), qualification criteria, lead handoff, and feedback loops to improve lead-to-order conversion
  • Ensure rapid response to inbound marketing leads and enforce response-time standards and follow-up cadences
  • Maintain full ownership of CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365) lead tracking, data quality, pipeline hygiene, and reporting
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key funnel KPIs including response time, follow-up compliance, conversion rates, and sales acceptance of leads
  • Develop and maintain lead development playbooks, call and email templates, qualification standards, and objection-handling guidelines
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Website, and Customer Service teams to continuously improve lead quality, campaign performance, and customer experience
  • Some travel will be required for this position
What You Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience in lead development, inside sales, sales operations, or marketing operations
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems
  • Demonstrated experience aligning Marketing and Sales teams around funnel performance and revenue goals
What Would Be Even Better
  • Experience using data enrichment and prospecting tools (i.e. LinkedIn Sales Navigator or ZoomInfo)
  • Background in industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing, or B2B technology markets
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, reporting tools, or business intelligence dashboards.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
