Responsibilities

The Data Developer II is the second level in a four-level career series within the CMC Corporate Information Systems, Technology, and Data Services department. This role designs, develops, maintains, and supports data and reporting solutions that meet business and clinical needs. You will play a key role in enhancing existing data solutions while supporting the analytical and database systems that store, manage, and distribute organizational data. And will have an opportunity to collaborate closely with senior Data Developers and leadership while having the ability to independently manage routine assignments and contribute to cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate will have successfully demonstrates proficiency in data structures, data models, reporting, and data integration. The Data Developer II may lead smaller projects and delivers accurate, reliable data solutions that enable informed decision-making across the organization.

Β Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Meeting with customers/clients to gather requirements for data extracts, custom reporting, or Epic dashboards to support business decisions.
  • Building, creating, modifying, and troubleshooting reports in SQL, Epic, Crystal, or Epic Radar dashboards.
  • Investigating and resolving client help tickets regarding report accuracy and data output.

Initial Onboarding: Required to come on-site for one week at the start of employment.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technology, Clinical or Business related field required
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree and experience requirement

Experience

  • 2 years of experience implementing and supporting data/information systems required
  • Healthcare experience is a plusΒ 
  • Strong programming experience in SQL
  • Experience with Crystal Reports
  • Experience with TableauΒ 
  • Experience with Webi

Licenses and Certifications

  • EPIC - Epic Certification in Data Model/Reporting required within 2 years of hire or transfer into position
