DUTIES: Design, develop, and implement data products to meet specific client requirements and business objectives. Manage the end-to-end process of data deliveries to ensure timely, accurate, and secure data transfers to clients. Provide support and maintenance for data jobs to ensure their continuous and reliable operations. Conduct rigorous product validation against functional specifications and client expectations to confirm the data product's readiness and suitability for deployment. Perform in-depth data quality analysis, identifying and resolving anomalies, inconsistencies, and errors to maintain data integrity. Work closely with developers, analysts, and client-facing teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and communicate progress on product development and data delivery status.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving data analytics and data engineering experience. Prior experience must include: 4 years managing end-to-end data delivery pipelines and production support; 4 years working in SQL and with relational and columnar databases; 4 years programming in Python, Scala or Java; 4 years working with data validation and quality assurance practices; 3 years building repeatable data pipelines using ETL frameworks; 3 years working with orchestration and scheduling tools for job workflows; 3 years working with cloud data platforms and storage including Azure, AWS or GCP; 3 years working with data delivery mechanisms and secure file transfer patterns; 2 years working with version control (GIT) and CI/CD pipelines for deployment and change management; and 2 years of data analysis identifying patterns and trends in large data sets.
