Summary:
Coordinates activities between Production, Production Planners, Support, Engineering and Materials. Coordinates continuous improvement activities within various systems and between the support functions.
Responsibilities:
• Monitors work order (WO) due dates in order to recognize trends/problems to ensure product is shipped to customer on time and to keep manufacturing management abreast of product flow
• Leads reoccurring meetings to drive closure of overdue WOs
• Coordinates rework and upgrades WOs (finding assemblies on production floor, getting assemblies to common location, coordinating release to new WO with Cage, PPS and BaaN transactions, etc.
• Serves as the focal point for machine line scheduling for backlogged machines on conflicting priorities
• Coordinates production output goal setting for any special circumstances
• Serves as the focal point for Support for changes to machine line or Wave operations PMs
• Researches and corrects over/under issue discrepancies on sub-assemblies and final assemblies
• Serves as the liaison for Configuration Analysts, Schedulers, Stockroom and Production Leaders for manufacturing order releases, priorities, holds, subassembly availability, and kit/part shortages
• Ensures timely documentation, database management, progress reports, and corrective action follow up
• Coordinates completion of ASRs and RMRs, including data entry to scrap tracker
• Tracks daily status and progress and work to resolve issues with support groups
• Reviews material discrepancy reports, locate components and make tracking adjustments, as needed
• Maintains tracker for containment inventory on the production floor
• Monitors releases to ensure alignment with customer forecast
• Works with leadership in locating and identifying aged WIP
• Coordinates movement of WIP between departments or facilities
• All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.
Other information:
• 2+ years of electronics manufacturing experience, 2+ years with Microsoft Office
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math
• Experience working with associated Microsoft products
• Demonstrate very good knowledge of business systems associated with production scheduling
• Ability to train Production Leaders in production scheduling concepts and procedures
• Effective organization and prioritization skills
• Effective interpersonal skills- able to mentor others
• Proven ability to complete projects in a timely manner
• Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required
• Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism when representing the company
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work well as an individual or on teams
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively with internal customers
• Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools
• Participate in a continuous improvement activity with complete documentation, including a follow up review with the team in a presentation format

Compensation Range: $17.62to $22.03 USD. Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
