Summary/Objective
We are seeking a Junior accountant /Accounting assistant to assist the accounting department in its daily operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual to learn and grow your career as you learn our business model.
Junior Accountant / Accountant Assistant, responsibilities include but not limited to:
Position Responsibilities:
  • Financial Data Control: Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized financial records.
  • Cash Management: Reconcile monthly bank statements to ensure general ledger accuracy.
  • Transactional Support: Assist with processing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) invoices.
  • Month-End Support: Help the team prepare schedules and adjustments for month-end closing.
  • Communication: Respond professionally to internal and external customer billing inquiries.
  • Team Assistance: Support the accounting department with various administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Expense Management: Reviewing and processing expense reports.
  • Audit Preparation: Pulling requested invoices, receipts, and ledger schedules for external auditors.
  • File Maintenance: Organizing and digitizing physical accounting documents to maintain tax compliance.

Position Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years combined accounting/business working experience
  • Software: Basic proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is highly preferred. SAP Business One experience a plus.
  • Traits: Strong attention to detail, good time management, and clear communication skills.

Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000 annually
