Quality Control Manager

Rogers-O'Brien Construction is looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager to join our team and lead QC/QA programs on mission critical projects averaging 60+ Megawatts and $400,000,000+. As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the quality standards on complex data center projects, with a focus on civil, structural, MEP systems, and building envelope performance. This is your opportunity to make a direct impact on some of Texas' most critical construction projects.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and manage the Project Quality Plan
  • Lead team of Quality Managers and Project Engineers responsible for field inspections of delivered material and installation across all construction scopes
  • Lead and Manage Trade Partners and 3rd Party Testing Agencies to ensure adherence to the Project Quality Control Plan
  • Facilitate Quality Meetings to review open quality issues and anticipate upcoming work
  • Interface with Owner QC Representative to track quality metrics and ensure adherence to ownerโ€™s Quality Control Requirements
  • Manage and track construction deficiencies from identification through resolution, maintaining a live deficiency log in Procore and related systems
What You Need
  • 7+ years of construction experience, including 3+ years in QC, superintendent, architect CA or field engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with mission critical, semiconductor, oil and gas, healthcare, or large commercial projects preferred
  • USACE Construction Quality Control Certification preferred
