Job Summary:

Manages the process of tracking incoming and outgoing products, maintaining accurate records and monitoring inventory levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all activities related to inventory control, ensuring that all materials are properly stored and that accurate and appropriate levels of inventory are maintained in order to meet production demands.
  • Maintains a record of materials on-premises and used in production.
  • Stocks or directs others in placement inventory items in various warehouse locations.
  • Compares quantities of items physically present in the warehouse to the inventory records of the warehouse and researches discrepancies.
  • Performs accurate cycle counts and random spot checks to maintain integrity of inventory accountability.
  • Thoroughly research inventory variances to make appropriate adjustments.
  • Data entry of product description information into inventory computer system.
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate inventory reports to management team.
  • Maintains records and develops reports for the reconciliation of supplies inventory.
  • Demonstrates continuous efforts to improve and streamline inventory work process.
  • Conducts inventory audits as needed to assure accuracy.
  • Assist with the coordination of inventory projects as needed.
  • Ability to work well with warehouse, customer service, accounting, purchasing and production management team.
  • Responsible for making sure warehouse inventory areas are clean, organized and items are clearly identified.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
