Job Description
rockITdata is seeking a Consultant to join our Emerging Solutions team focused on AI, Data & Analytics. We specialize in providing strategic insights and transformative solutions to healthcare organizations, including providers, payers, pharmaceutical companies, and biotechnology firms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in gathering, cleaning, and transforming raw data from different sources (e.g., databases, APIs, spreadsheets).
  • Perform data wrangling tasks to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Analyze datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Create basic data visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs) using tools like Power BI, Qlik, and other leading tools.
  • Help develop, test, and refine data models or reporting applications for predictive analytics or business intelligence.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring they are running efficiently.
  • Support the creation of detailed project documentation, including technical specifications, methodologies, and workflows.
  • Develop and test data workflows to transform, cleans and structure data for consumption
      
Required Qualifications
  • Must have a BA/BS Degree
  • Must have 2-3 years of experience working in the data and analytics space
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL
  • Experience with at least one data visualization platforms (e.g. Qlik, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong presentation and storytelling abilities
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving expertise

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Pharma, Biotech or Healthcare
  • Experience with Oracle Cerner
  • Experience with data ingestion, transformation or wrangling
  • Awareness of statistical analysis and predictive modeling capabilities
