Job description

SUMMARY
Assisting with installation and monitoring data communication lines and resolving user data communication problems by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Assist with all duties in a safe manner in accordance with VTX1 Victoria Installation and Safety Manuals.
  • Deliver and install required equipment in the customer's residence or business.
  • Educate all customers in operation of equipment being installed.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of current products and services offered by all branches.
  • Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Exercise care in use and storage of installation tools. Report lost or damaged tools immediately.
  • Maintain van in clean and orderly condition daily.
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe manner and report any incidents or nearincidents to supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a valid Driver's License and insurable record.
Must pass pre-employment screen, physical and background checks.
