Job description

We are seeking Voice And Data Technicians to become an integral part of our team! You will design and configure data communication systems as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise installation and maintenance of communication systems
  • Adjust voice and data configurations to minimize communication disruptions
  • Provide training and support to telecommunications personnel
  • Investigate customer issues and design appropriate solutions
  • Order and maintain inventory stock supplies

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in telecommunications or other related fields
  • Familiarity with telecommunications equipment
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:
*Able to terminate, label, test Cat3, Cat5E, Cat6. May know SM/MM Fiber. Punch down 66 and 110 blocks.
*Knows some security cameras and Audio Video work.
*Able to complete IDF build-outs.
*Walk Jobs and Read Blueprints.
*Able to communicate with GC's to meet
deadlines.
*Keep daily track of projects work completed and report daily
*Able to troubleshoot service calls
*Able to work if need be overtime and weekends
*Familiar with OSHA safety standards
