Your skills
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Center Technician, Server Technician, or similar role
  • Hands-on experience (or equivalent) in implementing and administrating MS technologies like Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Ability to work with limited oversite and direction across a variety of server, storage, and network hardware types
  • Experience working with enterprise-level IT infrastructure and knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols
  • Good monitoring skills, preferable experience (or equivalent) with PRTG
  • Strong knowledge of data center hardware and software, including servers, switches, and storage systems
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the USA on a permanent, unrestricted basis. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship, including student or temporary work authorization programs.

Your tasks
Hemmersbach is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Centre Technician to join our team. As a Data Center Technician, you will provide technical support to our clients at their location, working with data centers, servers, and enterprise-level IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support onsite to our clients at their location, with a focus on data centers, servers, and enterprise-level IT infrastructure
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues for data centers, servers, and other peripherals
  • Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware, including servers, switches, and storage systems
  • Participate in project rollouts and deployments, working with data centers and other enterprise-level IT infrastructure
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel as needed based on customer demand
