Data Center Facilities Technician
Honolulu, HI | Long-Term Government Contract
Pay: $33/hour
Security Clearance Required
Bishop & Company is seeking a Data Center Facilities Technician to join a long-term government contract in Honolulu.
In this role, you'll help support and maintain the physical infrastructure that keeps data center operations running efficiently. You'll work with both CAT 5 and fiber optic cabling systems and gain valuable experience in a secure government setting.
What You'll Do
  • Install, repair, and maintain CAT 5 and fiber optic cabling systems
  • Support data center infrastructure and connectivity requirements
  • Operate a variety of tools and equipment used in cabling installation and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cabling and infrastructure issues
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with government and industry standards
What We're Looking For
  • 2-4 years of experience in data center, telecommunications, network cabling, or related technical environments
  • Experience with CAT 5 cabling installation and maintenance
  • Fiber optic experience is strongly preferred
  • Secret Security Clearance eligibility 
  • Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification within 90 days of hire
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a secure, mission-focused environment
