As a Security Officer Data Center in Englewood, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, validate visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, including exterior grounds, access points, equipment areas, and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and support continuity of operations by observing activity, following established protocols, and communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
