Position: Project Manager III – Power Delivery Data Analytics

Location: Birmingham, AL {Hybrid – 4 days Onsite and 1 Day Remote}
Duration: 3 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager III to lead and coordinate a portfolio of strategic projects within a Power Delivery Data Analytics organization. This role will manage multiple technology, analytics, software, and business transformation initiatives while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in managing project roadmaps, budgets, risks, resources, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders. Industry-specific experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across the Data Analytics organization.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, roadmaps, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Track project performance against scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business objectives.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate business stakeholders, technical teams, leadership, vendors, and external partners.
  • Facilitate project meetings, planning sessions, workshops, and status reviews.
  • Prepare agendas, document decisions, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on project health, milestones, risks, budgets, and key decisions.
  • Monitor vendor deliverables, commitments, schedules, and issue resolution.
  • Support budget tracking, forecasts, resource planning, and staffing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with project governance, reporting, and change-management processes.
  • Promote project management best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Support adoption of new technologies, processes, and tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience leading technology, analytics, software, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Strong project planning, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience creating project roadmaps, schedules, status reports, and executive presentations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, shifting priorities, and competing deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, or a similar project management certification.
  • Experience supporting data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, data platforms, or technology programs.
  • Experience managing external vendors and consulting partners.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
