G. ASSIGNED DUTIES

Performs a variety of secretarial, clerical, and administrative functions in support of a unit or office or related personnel.

Duties Include:

  • Responds to calls and visitors, and maintains data and filing systems and reference manuals/materials.
  • Composes and generates memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents. Gathers readily available narrative and/or numerical data for routine reports or requests for information.
  • Completes forms in accordance with organizational procedures.
  • Opens, reads, routes, and distributes incoming mail and other materials.
  • Assist in researching information for projects and inquiries. Uses computer application software.
  • Responsible for clerical, accounting and some building marshal functions throughout the day.
  • Prepare purchase orders for bills being paid from center accounts and submits to CSDC for signature.
  • Ensure purchase orders are prepared no later than 16 calendar days of the receipt of the bill or sooner if indicated on the bill.
  • Prepare T&L checks to pay bills generated by Supported Employment/Prevocational and Work Activity.
  • Ensures bills are paid no later than 18 calendar days after receipt of the bill or sooner if indicated on the bill.

Normal hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Position does require flexibility as hours may need to be adjusted for the benefit of the agency and individuals supported. This is an hourly position and deemed non-exempt.
