Job description

We are seeking an Infrastructure Architect to support the design, implementation, and operational readiness of enterprise data center infrastructure across primary and secondary sites. This role will collaborate with architects, engineering teams, vendors, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and production-ready infrastructure solutions.

Required Skill
  • 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or architecture with exposure to data center builds, migrations, or modernization initiatives.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure architecture, resiliency design, capacity planning, and operational standards.
  • Hands-on knowledge across infrastructure domains including:
    • Data center infrastructure and rack/stack activities
    • Network architecture (core/leaf-spine, routing, segmentation, WAN/DCI, firewalls, DNS/DHCP/IPAM)
    • Compute and virtualization platforms (VMware/vSphere or equivalent)
    • Storage solutions (block/file storage, replication, encryption, tiering)
    • Backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Experience creating and reviewing HLD/LLD, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, MOPs, runbooks, and operational documentation .
  • Knowledge of security and compliance practices including logging/SIEM integration, RBAC/PAM, segmentation, and audit readiness.
  • Strong collaboration skills with architects, engineering teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

  • Assist with data center build activities including space planning, rack layouts, power/cooling readiness, cabling, cross-connects, labeling, and commissioning.

  • Assist with compute platform design, virtualization standards, lifecycle management, patching, automation readiness, and performance baselines.
  • Support storage, backup, and DR solution planning aligned with business RPO/RTO requirements.
  • Ensure infrastructure solutions meet security, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, validation checklists, and implementation plans.
  • Support architecture reviews, vendor coordination, BOM validation, cutover planning, risk tracking, and production stabilization activities.
