Position Summary
The Senior Director of Sales โ€“ Data Centers will lead EPC Powerโ€™s go-to-market strategy and execution for the rapidly growing data center segment. This role is responsible for developing a sales channel, driving revenue growth, building strategic customer relationships, and positioning EPC Power as the preferred inverter provider for AI-driven and hyperscale data center applications.


Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies targeting data center operators, hyperscalers, and EPCs with high-availability and grid-forming inverter needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key accounts, including utilities and data center developers.
  • Market Development: Identify emerging trends in AI infrastructure, microgrids, and co-located renewable projects to shape product positioning and sales tactics.
  • Revenue Growth: Own the sales pipeline and forecasting for the data center vertical, contributing to growth targets.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to align customer needs with EPC Powerโ€™s technology roadmap.
  • Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing internal and external sales team focused on the data center segment.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in energy, power electronics, or data center infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of closing large-scale uninterruptible power supply (UPS) or BESS deals with data center clients.
  • Deep understanding of grid-connected and islanded power systems, microgrids, and high-availability requirements.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. (70%+)

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with power electronics, UPS solutions, and AI data center infrastructure.
  • Background in strategic and value selling
  • Commuting distance to Washington D.C. preferred
